Nature Walk to the Valley of the Five Lakes

This guided Nature walk features rolling hills, forests, meadows, marshes, streams and beautiful glacial lakes. Your licensed interpreter will lead the 4 km walk as you explore the abundant flora and fauna along the route. A great opportunity to spot wildlife. The walking pace in leisurely with lots of interpretation of the changing surroundings.

Path of The Glacier Walk

This 1.5 hour walk takes place near the base of Mount Edith Cavell, one of Jasper's most stunning mountains. The "Path of the Glacier" trail follows glacial moraines and descends to a picturesque emerald lake where ice may be seen tumbling from the face of Angel Glacier. This entire excursion takes 3-3.5 hours.

Mount Edith Cavell Meadows
Jasper’s most spectacular hike!

This 6 km hike encompasses some of the most stunning scenery to be seen anywhere. Your guide will lead to several viewpoints overlooking the moraine fields, bright glacial lakes, and the huge 1000m face of Mt. Edith Cavell. As you hike up the trail it will gradually open up into a lush alpine meadow carpeted with wildflowers. We will be overlooking the angel glacier, which is always active in the hot afternoon as avalanches and seracs fall from the mountain.

Heli-Hiking

The most exciting way to hike in the mountains! Explore the alpine wilderness of the Rockies that few ever see. With your private guide and transportation you will tour along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world's most scenic highways, before arriving at the heliplex for a short helicopter orientation. Your helicopter ride will reveal stunning views before landing thousands of feet above, at the start of your adventure. High mountain waterfalls cascading from the glaciers, alpine meadow with unbelievable wildflowers, and high alpine ridges await. Hiking time for the day is 3-4 hours and guests must have sturdy footwear and dress in layers in case of weather changes.
